Worcester Graffiti mural
The crew at GraffitiArtist.com were asked to help students at Tudor Grange Academy in Worcester to create a huge mural in the city. We worked closely with the art department to a strict brief given by the Lord Mayor of Worcester. This included that the finished mural must contain history relevent to the city and also appeal to young people and older, without causing offence. The students, a hand picked team of gifted and talented year 9's, brain stormed ideas and came up with a design for us to sharpen and submit to the mayor and his team. This was approved without any changes and we started painting the mural straight away over the following week. All the students did their bit on the wall and in 5 days it was finished, including an anti-graffiti coating to protect it for years to come. Feedback from the public during the project and afterwards was all positive, verbally and on internet forums alike. The art department and the students did themselves proud, as the pictures prove.
